Just 20 kilometres from Bademli, in Acipayam, there is the biggest open-air bazaar in Turkey. You can buy just about anything there from textiles to fresh fruit and vegetables. Mysterious, but high-quality spices are a must! When we are done with our shopping we will return in the late afternoon to Bademli.Accomodation, breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as non-alcoholic beverages such as water tea or Nescafe are included in price. THE ANCIENT CITY OF KIBYRAHierapolis 20130915 1606042369 The ruins of the ancient city of Kibrya are approximately 3 kilometres from the city of Gölhisar. A vast area of ruins such as a theatre, an odeon, a stadium, a burial site and much more reveal the greatness of the former city. This ancient city was only first explored a few years ago. Archeological fieldwork is currently being carried out by the University of Vienna and the Ludwig-Maximillian University of Munich. After having lunch and receiving some further information about the locality, in the evening we will return to Bademli.ceğiz.


We will hike about 15 kilometres to the Lake Salda, a mid-size crater lake with such clear water as you probably have never seen before! For those of you who prefer not to hike there, you may also get a transfer there by car. We will enjoy lunch and have coffee or tea with a breathtaking view over the lake . If you like, you can sunbathe or take a swim. In the late afternoon we will drive back to Bademli.


ESELER MOUNTAINS WITH AN OVERNIGHT STAY IN A NOMADIC TENTAfter about 10 kilometres of moderate climbing we will reach the top of the Eseler Mountains and enjoy the spectacular view to the lakes in the area below. We will encounter herds of cows, sheep and goats whose owners live in Badmli. If you are so inclined, you can also go for a horse ride. The night will be spent in a tent in the mountains in the fresh mountain air and get a feel for what it was like to be a nomad. After breakfast we 


A VISIT TO A TROUT FARM AND ONE OF TURKEY’S OLDEST MOSQUESAn 8 kilometre hike through forest trails of moderate difficulty will lead us to Yazir Dodurga. This area boasts one of the oldest mosques in Turkey. We will take a trip back in time and view the mosque’s interior. We will end this trip by visiting a trout farm where we can enjoy grilled, freshly- caught trout. We will then hike back to Bademli.


We will hike through the Keloglan Cave which is 6 kilometers from Bademli. The trail is of moderate difficulty to hike and leads through the forest. The cave is approximately 145 metres deep with a vast number of spectacular stalactite and stalagmite formations. The unique quality of the air in the inside of the cave has a beneficial effects on health especially for visitors suffering from shortness of breath, asthma, bronchitis and other ailments. The cave is situated on a cliff facing the south-east and offers a spectacular view to the Eseler mountains. After lunch, it’s time to head back to Bademli.


Bademli is Turkish for the word almond, or in this case, the almond village. Bademli will be the starting point for all the activities recommended during your stay. Naturally, particular emphasis will be placed on the the preservation of the local environment, therefore making sure that the local environment is not disturbed as much as possible. The village has a long, undocumented history which is however to be seen in the relatively recent excavations made locally. Some of the local customs date back to the Nomadic period. The inhabitants of Bademli have held onto their traditional warmth and hospitality and welcome the opportunity for a friendly chat.
